What are Topcoat paints?

Topcoat paints are typically formulated to be more durable and scratch-resistant than basecoat. They also come in a wide range of sheens, from flat to high gloss, and can create various effects, such as a matte finish, a satin finish, or a glossy finish.

The surface should be clean, dry, free of dusts, debris, and grease before applying the topcoat. The topcoat should be applied evenly and in thin, even coats, taking care not to over-apply the paint, which can result in drips and sags.
